Elisa Moran - Board President

Elisa Moran is a trial attorney, who has practiced in the Denver Metro area since 1981, specializing in employment discrimination and civil rights cases.  She is the recipient of the Channel 7 Everyday Heroes Award in 2005 for her work with Head Start Children in Denver.

Ms. Moran has served on a number of non-profit boards including holding the presidency of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Children’s International Summer Villages, a non-profit that promotes peace and understanding by establishing “villages” and “camps” for children aged 11-19 to live, work, and play with children from over 100 countries around the world.

 Additionally, Ms. Moran served as president of Rose Women’s Organization (RWO), a donor advised fund of the Rose Community Foundation.  RWO makes grants to non-profits in the Denver Metro Area to improve the health, education, and welfare of women, children and families. Moran was president of RWO during 2003-2004 when RWO had a focus on addressing Mental Health
issues in Colorado.

Moran is also the past president of the East High Angel Foundation Board to raise needed monies for East High School and help the school maintain it’s excellent reputation in the education community.

Moran is currently on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation which raises and distributes funds to support children with medical illnesses and their families.
